2025 Mini Cooper S

We have a special needs son that is unable to drive, but is an absolute adrenaline junkie and loves cars and everything fast and loud, so I have decided to build a 2025 F66 Mini Cooper to take him racing in autocross and time trial events, and the occasional trip down the 1/4 mile. We transfer him from his wheelchair into the passenger seat and he becomes my navigator and right hand man. I've always loved how nimble the Minis are and racing in autocross is extremely aggressive and thrill seeking as a driver and a passenger without the higher risks of him getting injured in high speed, door to door racing. The smiles that this car has put on his face has made every wrench turn worth it. We have just begun our journey in this and look forward to making the car more competitive and of course faster and faster. We try making as many events, car shows, and pop up car meets as we can.

Future build plans include front mount intercooler (ordered), water methanol injection, flex fuel kit, charge pipes, down pipe, forged pistons and rods, and a hybrid turbo. Hp goal is about 400-450 to the wheels. Our son has absolutely been having the tine of his life being part of the car community, attending shows, and race events. I feel extremely lucky that we get to do this as a family and that his smile grows bigger and bigger the faster we go. He has been in professional drift cars with Vaguhn Gittn Jr, offshore racing boats, 9 second drag cars, indoor sky diving, snow skiing, time trial events, and autocross. We absolutely love building this car and building memories together!
