The '69
1969 Ford Mustang
The Build
Bought from Deery Brothers in West Burlington. Needed a lot of work and had to do some add ons to make it my own. No power steering, had to rebuild. Fly wheel was missing half of it's teeth. Shifting problems. Stock export brace. Went chrome plus a chrome Monte Carlo bar. Rattle in the front end. replaced everything on both sides for suspension. Springs, upper controls arms, Etc. put adjustable QA 1 shocks on all 4 corners. Replaced every steering component. And I mean EVERY steering component. Put in wiring harness replaced stearter switch, starter. EVERY starting component. The only thing left was the alternator and going from a 45 amp to a 100 amp finally solved my starting problems. re did the rearend completely. New springs, traction bars. The only thing I didn't change was the sway bar. seats were ripped and broken, redid interior and replaced the cracked dash. Replaced the gauges. replaced the kick panels. Can you all tell I am trying to get to 250+ words. I did not do the original in depth build. was told there was only 10,000 miles on the engine rebuild.
