The 2026 Show in the Shade, presented by the Mid-Columbia Car Club, is a multi-day automotive spectacular set in The Dalles, Oregon, August 7–9, 2026. Kick things off Friday evening with car registration at Burgerville followed by the legendary "Neon Cruise" down 2nd & 3rd Streets in downtown The Dalles — a rolling light show you won't want to miss (NO BURNOUTS — this is a privileged cruise!). Saturday is the main event at Sorosis Park, featuring judged classes, goodie bags and dash plaques for the first 250 entries, a 1:30 PM auction, and the grand "Parade of Champions" Awards Ceremony from 2–3 PM. Cap off the weekend Sunday at the Dufur Threshing Bee Car Show at Dufur City Park. This is a can't-miss Pacific Northwest classic car event for all enthusiasts!
